KikdButt

KikdButt is a Gross motor skills game that focuses on balance and coordination.  Each card gives a challenge like skateboarding, basketball, going up and down the stairs and kicking the ball in the net, these tasks are done using the fingers.  Many children that have problems with gross motor skills lack the coordination of using both legs when skateboarding, this will give them a demonstration on how to skateboard using their fingers.  When children learn this way the task is up close to them and they can practice the task with their hands, they will see how the fingers coordinate and relate this to how the legs work.  The game will also ask them to do a task not using the tools in the game, like balance on one leg for 5 second, hop on one leg, skip in a circle, touch your toes with your hands 3 times, place one hand on your head and the other hand behind your back.  There will be about 50 different tasks to do.  More advanced cards and tools can be purchased on the site.
